The ideal candidate should have strong Java and microservices expertise, hands-on experience with GCP services and Terraform, and a good understanding of CI/CD and cloud architecture.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend applications and microservices on GCP.\n\n- Develop robust backend services and REST APIs using Java, with Python exposure being an advantage.\n\n- Design and implement complex, high-performance microservices and distributed backend systems.\n\n- Work extensively with GCP services including Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and Apigee.\n\n- Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.\n\n- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.\n\n- Work with GCP database services such as Cloud SQL and Cloud Spanner.\n\n- Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and cloud solution discussions.\n\n- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, design, security, and performance best practices.\n\n- Provide technical guidance and feedback to junior developers.\n\n- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.\n\n- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, architecture, and other cross-functional teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.\n\nRequired Skills : \n\n- 3 - 8 years of experience in Java backend development and cloud engineering.\n\n- Strong hands-on expertise in Java and backend application development.\n\n- Strong experience with microservices and distributed systems.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\n- Good experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and Apigee.\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.\n\n- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.\n\n- Experience with Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, or similar cloud databases.\n\n- Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend architecture, scalability, and performance.\n\n- Experience with Python is an advantage.\n\n- Good understanding of cloud security, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting practices.\n\n- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.\n\n- Experience with code reviews and mentoring junior developers.\nSkills\nJava, Google Cloud Platform, Native Cloud, Cloud Architect, CI/CD Pipeline, IAC Terraform, REST API, Microservices Architecture, Distributed Systems","description_format":"text","description_chars":2702,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T18:04:06Z"}],"liveness":{"score":32,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":0.85,"p_active":0.68,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":20,"expected_fill_days":18,"reasons":["seen:20","velocity","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-10-01T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/glauben-technologies-javagcp-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/glauben-technologies-javagcp-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T18:43:31Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":999,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4001,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
