You'll ship agentic capabilities on an open, extensible stack, with the craft and care required for enterprise trust, as we bring Work AI to every employee, in every company.\nAbout the Role:\n\nThe Solution Engineer role sits within the GTM organisation in India, making you a trusted technical advisor to the local sales team, our partners, and our customers. In this role, you will support the EMEA region, working closely with EMEA Account Executives, partners, and customers. You will work on exciting projects with some of the most forward-thinking organisations, helping guide the start of their Generative AI journeys. This role has a strong technical skill set and is not a classic SE profile. At Glean, our Solution Engineers work with our customers to help them connect Glean to their most important decision-making platforms. These platforms include Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Slack, GitHub, Zendesk, and everything in between! As an SE, you will work closely with our Account Executives (AEs) and will be responsible for the technical success and delivery of our sales opportunities.\nYou will:\nPerform interactive demonstrations of the Glean platform to prospective customers.\nEducate the technical teams of our prospective customers on the architecture of the Glean platform, specifically articulating the \"how\" of how our solution works in the context of the customer landscape.\nScope and execute sponsored pilot and Proof of Value (PoV) exercises to ensure the technical requirements and business objectives that the Glean solution provides are validated.\nEducate and train our customers and partners on our product to ensure that they are set up for success.\nPresent at company-sponsored events such as Google Cloud Next and AWS re:Invent.\nLiaise with Glean product managers and engineers to investigate issues, raise feature requests, and understand our future roadmap.\nAbout You:\nYou have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).\nYou have at least 4+ years of experience in enterprise software pre-sales and have used value-based discovery frameworks.\nYou possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.\nYou are able to explain complex technical concepts in layman's terms to help educate and train our customers, prospects, and partners.\nYou are comfortable presenting, both virtually and in person.\nYou are familiar with cloud infrastructure (IaaS) platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.\nYou are familiar with identity services and Single Sign-On (SSO) providers such as Azure/Entra ID, Okta, and protocols such as SAML, SCIM, and OIDC.\nYou are familiar with APIs, including sending and receiving data from API endpoints, and how to troubleshoot issues.\nYou are familiar with security concepts and tools, e.g. Firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS, DLP, WAFs, and proxies.\nLocation:\nThis role is hybrid (3 days a week in our Bangalore office).\nThis role supports the EMEA region, with working hours of 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nCompensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
