Maintaining these partnerships requires delivering high quality software within a timely manner and keeping up with modern industrial security requirements, and automation practices. Blazor, WPF, AWS and Azure services\n\nKey responsibilities include:\nTaking leadership in a variety of high impact projects, from the design phase to delivery\nDesigning, implementing, testing, verifying, deploying, and maintaining engineering software and porting legacy engineering software to modern computing architectures \nTroubleshooting software issues, refactoring software to improve capability and performance while working with subject matter experts\nInterface with other team members and support groups across the Gleason Family of Companies\nProviding mentorship to junior-level engineers, including guidance for design, and best coding practices\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering and 5-8 years of professional software development experience\nExtensive Software development experience in C#, .NET, Python, Go, Java or similar object-oriented language \nExperience in Desktop development for Windows (I.E WPF or WinForms)\nExperience in using Source Control, Modern IDEs and DevOps tools including Agentic AI / LLM Technologies\nAbility to work in an Agile Cross Functional Team environment where team members may include Customers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Mathematicians, Gear Process Specialists and Gear Machine operators\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills \nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nDesire to learn new programming languages and technologies as requirements evolve\n\nAdditional Desired Experience\nExperience in Cloud technologies (AWS is a huge plus)\nExperience in web development in Blazor\nExperience with WPF is a huge plus\nExperience with CI/CD
