Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation involved with the assembly and qualification of the company’s products. Represents the Manufacturing organization in the New Product Development (NPD) process.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: \nCreate and maintain complete and accurate assembly work instructions – designs and specifies processes / techniques used to manufacture the company products and components therein.\nCreate and maintain inspection sheets\nCreate work instructions, as required, for field and service installations and repair.\nParticipate in design reviews, ensuring that DFA / DFM concepts are considered.\nOrder tooling required (for assembly, runoff and field service).
