This role will oversee the monthly shutdowns, scheduled execution, trade supervision, continuous improvement, implement and support our fatal hazard protocols, and ensure all work meets EVR’s standards for safety, environmental responsibility and operational excellence.\nTo be successful, we are looking for a confident and collaborative leader with a proven ability to mentor and motivate individuals, build strong working relationships, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. including job walk downs, work assignment, pre-shutdown meetings, readiness reviews, commissioning planning, post-shutdown performance reviews\nManage daily and weekly maintenance schedule\nCollaborate closely with Electrical Planners, Schedulers and Maintenance Coordinators on day-to-day work execution, shutdown prep\nSupervise employees and multiple contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with project scope, schedule, and budget\nMaintain a safe and efficient work environment by fostering strong compliance with EVR’s GCOM, No Plan No Work, Safe Coal programs, and all applicable regulatory requirements under the BC Mines Act\nCoordinate and prioritise maintenance activities for plant equipment to improve availability, reliability, and overall performance\nLead Safety meetings, GCOM (toolbox talk)\nConduct employee performance evaluations and contribute to the succession planning and workforce development.\nParticipate in Industrial relations matters, incident investigations, and safety related reviews\nRequirements:\nPossess a valid Journeypersons certificate, Related technical diploma or engineering degree.\nExperience in Execution, Planning, and scheduling of maintenance.\nProficiency in Microsoft suite and SAP\nSupervisory experience is considered an asset.\nValid Class 5 Driver’s License or
