Working closely with maintenance trades, planners, supervisors, and operations personnel, the incumbent ensures the accuracy of work requests, effective coordination of resources, and the integrity of maintenance records.\nTo be successful, we are looking for someone withstrong communication skills, solid technical understanding of mining equipment and operations, proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (such as SAP), exceptional organizational ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to perform effectively in fast paced environments while managing competing priorities. Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution is essential.\nMultiple opportunities are available across several EVR operations. Work locations and rotational schedules will vary depending on the assigned site and operational requirements. maintenance work requests and work orders within S4/HANA\n\nSubmit Maintenance Requests on behalf of Contractors\n\nScreen New Maintenance Requests daily\n\nPrioritize requests (Emergency, Minor, Standard) and ensure traceability and control\n\nEnsure Maintenance Requests include accurate functional locations or equipment number, detailed work scope descriptions, required labour estimates and materials\n\nLead daily work control meetings with Supervisors, Planners, and Operations\n\nAct as the main point of communication between Maintenance Supervisors, Trades, Operations and Reliability/Planning teams\n\nVerifying that permits, isolations, and all required safety requirements are identified and communicated to Supervisors\n\nEnsuring the correct parts, materials, and tools are sourced and delivered to support timely repairs\n\nApprove materials within defined permissions and support cost control\n\nCoordinating the assignment of the appropriate tradespeople and contractors\n\nSecuring mobile equipment or plant downtime windows needed to complete the work\n\nAssessing the production impact of equipment downtime and prioritizing work accordingly\n\nFacilitating collaboration across multiple operational areas to enable smooth execution\n\nProviding guidance and support to ensure reactive maintenance activities are completed safely, effectively, and on schedule\n\nWorking with Trades, Operations, and Contractors to confirm complete job scopes, resource requirements, and parts needs\n\nEnsuring safety requirements, tools, and procedures are incorporated into work plans\n\nCollaborating with Planners and Schedulers to prioritize work and align activities with equipment availability and production needs\n\nCoordinating with the Materials Coordinator to secure tools, and materials, and ensuring they are properly staged before execution\n\nMonitoring equipment availability and assisting with warranty and returns processes\n\nReviewing daily and weekly schedules with Supervisors and Schedulers\n\nConducting final work order reviews to verify proper completion, including labour hours, parts usage, failure coding, and ensuring accurate trade notes are captured\n\nSupporting on equipment reliability and maintenance performance reporting\n\nReviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs) associated with equipment in SAP\n\nEscalating delays or issues affecting major maintenance events, production or other priorities when needed\n\nSupporting preparation, planning and execution of major maintenance events, such as shutdowns\n\nRequirements:\nJourneyperson’s ticket, or Engineering Degree in a related subject area (Mechanical, Mining, Processing), or a combination of relevant education and experience in mining or heavy industry\n\n7 years of experience in planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance work\n\nWell versed in the use of systems and technology\n\nStrong understanding and skills in computerized
