The primary role of Manufacturing Associate I is to formulate reagents, package supports, phosphoramidites, and other non-hazardous materials needed for the synthesis and purification of oligonucleotides as well as working with Hazardous materials and knowledge of general chemistry techniques.\nHow you will make an impact: \nPrepare catalog products using manufacturing instructions, procedures and protocols\nAssociated tasks include packaging, labeling, and storing of product\nMaintaining inventory of catalog products and raw materials\nGeneral laboratory maintenance and equipment maintenance\nEvaluation and cleaning of necessary production glassware\nEvaluation and assembly of support columns\nDistribution of products with correct documentation, using good documentation practices.\nInspection of finished goods.\nFulfill products from stock for customer orders\nInspection of completed orders prior to shipment\nAssist with general shipping and receiving of products and materials\nProper storage, handling, and disposal of organic solvents, hazardous chemicals, and waste\nPerform other functions and duties as required.\nWork with hazardous materials on Daily basis that will require wearing proper PPE at all time\nAble to life 50lbs.\nMaking 40-70 liter batches at a time\nPerform other functions and duties as required\n The skills and experience that you will bring: \nHigh School diploma required.\nMust have good communication skills, written and verbal. \nMust be able to follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Work Instructions (WIs) \nas well as personalized instruction from leaders. \nMust be self-motivated and able to work both in a team setting as well as individually. \nMust be able to work in a fact paced environment without getting overwhelmed. \nMust be able to perform repetitious activities while maintaining accuracy. \nMust have excellent attention to detail and be able to perform detail-oriented work requiring fine motor skills. \nMust be a good timekeeper and ensure prompt arrival to work for each scheduled shift. \nMust have functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. \nExperience with FileMaker database and NetSuite ERP software a plus. \nThis is a manufacturing and production based job.
