The role will support and manage research inquiries coming from our Professional Services Firm client firms based in South Korea.\nThe Associate in the Corporate team is responsible for driving Gerson Lehrman Group’s underlying business processes, fulfilling timely client research requests, identifying, and pitching simple to complex research methodologies suitable for the client’s requirements, and facilitating interactions between GLG’s clients and Network Members:\nAssociates complete a comprehensive training program, receive daily coaching and feedback, and develop strong, transferable business and leadership skills that will help them excel in their current and future roles.\nKey Associate Responsibilities Include\nSupporting team members on various aspects of client projects and Network Member engagement.\nRecruiting new experts to join GLG’s insight network through targeted lead generation and timely outreach by phone, email, and other methods.\nBuilding your understanding of client strategies, various industry sectors, and value chains to identify and vet the best experts for client projects.\nScheduling and confirming critical calls and meetings between GLG’s clients and Network Members, including scheduling all calls with your new recruits.\nProactively engaging with GLG’s Network Members to understand their expertise and gauge their fit-on client projects.\nCollaborating closely with senior members to expand projects and rescope of recruiting populations to drive successful client outcomes.\nLearning and upholding our compliance policies and procedures to protect the integrity of client engagements.\nAs an Associate, You Will Learn To\nExcel in a phone based and highly challenging environment that demands attention to detail and prioritization of various workflows and execution on multiple projects at the same time.\nRecruit and vet new relevant experts to the GLG Network, building your lead generation, outreach, screening and pitching skills.\nDevelop strong, transferable business skills, including communication, time management, negotiating, problem solving, project management, research and the ability to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.\nCollaborate with colleagues on and across both regional and global teams to contribute to revenue and broader commercial success.\nWorking towards growing GLG client relationships. The Associate will be working towards gaining responsibility of developing relationships with GLG clients, who are primarily leading professionals from Korean leading corporates of through calls, in-person meetings and quality of project execution.\nMentor future GLG Associates as you become tenured and proficient in your role.\nIdeal Candidates Have\nBachelor’s Degree or more\nExcellent communication skills and fluency in written English and Korean.\nSolid B2B sales experience of less than 2 years.\nConfident and strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal skills and motivation to work on the phone daily with Network Members and potential recruits.\nDesire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team environment where we strive to provide an excellent experience for experts and clients.\nAbility to work responsibly and manage multiple, simultaneous tasks and prioritize effectively, given that priorities shift quickly at GLG.\nHigh motivation to exceed personal weekly, monthly, and quarterly commercial targets.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nAbility to quickly digest and implement feedback and coaching.\nEagerness to learn about new topics, industries, and companies.\nGLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
