Recruiting Associates themselves also develop into subject matter experts across industries and topics via their client service role. \nIn this role, you will undergo comprehensive training of which some of the key initial responsibilities include: \nExpanding GLG Councils and learning to effectively and clearly explain GLG’s value proposition and business model to leading industry thought leaders; \nEngaging Council Members on a daily basis to understand their capabilities and knowledge on specific client requests; \nSupporting senior team members on all aspects of client engagements; and \nLearning our compliance policies and procedures to protect the integrity of client engagements. \nAs you progress in this role you will gain more autonomy by: \nExecuting custom projects across client firms - including consultations, surveys, and special projects; \nContinuing to expand GLG Councils; \nEngaging with clients daily to understand their needs and provide exceptional service; \nMaintaining accountability and responsibility for client projects and overall client experience; \nCollaborating with our Business Development team on revenue growth opportunities and ensure retention on existing accounts; \nCollaborating closely with senior team members to program live event content for Greater China as well as more broadly distributed virtual event content. \nRequirements: \nBachelors degree, or higher \nExcellent communication skills and fluency in English \nCuriosity about the financial markets, including trends and white spaces \nPassion for problem -solving in a client service role \nAbility to write, speak and present succinctly to deliver investment theses/ideas \nDemonstrated commercial acumen and interest, in some or all the following areas: Sales, negotiation, or networking with high-end professionals; and/or \nBusiness development, corporate development, product development, Product and project management \nAbility to multi-task and prioritise activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail \nUp to 4 years of work experience in client-facing, account management or analyst roles in relevant industries such as banking, business services, consultancies and financial services or start up environment \nAbout GLG / Gerson Lehrman Group\nGLG is the world’s leading platform for trusted human expertise.
