This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.\nYou will act as a full stack developer for the Section 7 DAT team in a fast-paced role improving the mission process for the customer.\nThe organization is focused on discovery of opportunities and enabling activities in numerous technical fields.\nYou will be responsible for designing and delivering custom applications, providing data visualization, workflow automation, and mission cognizance for mission critical activities.\nYou will work closely with the mission customer, collect requirements, feedback and provide support as needed on a wide variety of tasks.\nThis team provides software development in a customer service like role where requirements can change rapidly based on customer current needs. \nResponsibilities:\nDevelop scripts and analytics to provide novel insights into unique questions.\nFind and aggregate data from disparate sources and integrate into new and existing tools.\nDevelop new UIs and visualizations to provide customers with better understanding of their data.\nElicit requirements and feedback directly from end-users and other stakeholders.\nCollaborate with other DATs and QC teams to share expertise and elevate all teams.\nKey Requirements:\nTo be considered for this position you must have the following:\nPossess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. \nU.S. Citizenship.\nProfessional/Education experience: 12 years & Bachelors of Science Degree, or 4 additional years in place of a BS Degree. \nWorks well independently as well as on a team. \nStrong communication skills. \nRequired Skills:\nExperience developing in Python specifically data transformations .\nExperience writing frontend webapps in Javascript/Typescript React.\nExperience querying and developing in a big data environment.\nExperience developing on managing Linux servers.\nIs comfortable work directly with customers and users to solve unique hard problems.\nDesire to architect and implement solutions from beginning to end.\nDesired Skills:\nExperience using AWS.\nExperience with any other programming languages or frameworks (Java, FastApi, Angular, Spring Boot etc.).\nDesire to mentor and teach others.\nKnowledge of AI/ML and Big Data Tools (DuckDB, Polars, Pandas, Spark).\nLocation: Laurel, MD (onsite full time)\nSalary Range: The salary range for this full-time position is $200,000 to $280,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications.
