This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.\nKey Requirements:\nTo be considered for this position you must have the following:\nU.S. Citizenship\nFive (5) years experience in applied machine learning in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A Master's or Ph.D. degree in advanced math, artificial intelligence, data science, computer science or deep learning from an accredited college or university. 5 additional years of machine learning experience with a relevant Bachelor's degree may be substituted for a Master's degree. \nExperience with standard machine language frameworks, e.g. Pytorch, TensorFlow.\nWorks well independently as well as on a team. \nStrong communication skills. \nKey Skills:\nAbility to select appropriate data sets\nPerform statistical analysis\nRun machine learning algorithms\nUse results to improve models\nTrain and retrain systems when needed\nExperience in working with various ML libraries and packages\nRun standard test and evaluation protocols\nProvide system integration oversight\nOversee Test and evaluation of AI and ML algorithms through an iterative design process to meet verification and validation requirements\nResearch and implement a broad range of AI and ML algorithms and tools\nDesign or Select appropriate data and knowledge representation methods\nRecognize software architecture, data modelling, and data structures\nTransform and convert data science prototypes into scalable solutions\nVerify data and model output quality\nIdentify differences in data distribution that affect model performance\nLocation: Annapolis Junction, MD / Partial Telework (up to 16 hours per week) may be available for this position based on mission needs/available tasking at the discretion of leadership, after the individual has become fully acclimated to the duties and responsibilities of the position and has completed the necessary telework training.\nSalary Range: The salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 to $230,000.
