The ideal candidate is based in the Maryland, Washington DC, or Virginia area for weekly visits, with a secondary option for candidates in WV, NC, PA, DE, NY, NJ, TX, or FL who can travel monthly to the Reston, VA office. The interview process consists of 2-3 rounds, including at least one onsite round for local candidates.\nThis role drives enterprise optimization by introducing capabilities across the domain of responsibility, translating business needs into architectural solutions that meet performance, reliability, and security expectations, and applying enterprise roadmaps, principles, and standards to execute domain strategy.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead preparation of domain architecture viewpoints and models depicting current, target, and interim states\nIdentify and analyze pain points and opportunities using current state viewpoints\nLead advanced modeling and analysis addressing system, information, functional/non-functional, performance, and security/regulatory needs\nCreate and apply architecture patterns aligned with IT strategies and reference architectures\nEnsure target state alignment and traceability across business and solution architecture layers\nLead extension and enhancement of domain architecture strategies, standards, and guidelines\nLead design, engineering, and implementation of reusable assets to improve solution quality\nLead peer reviews and represent the architecture domain in Architecture Review Board briefings\nOversee publishing and maintenance of architecture viewpoints and work products in the repository\nEnsure regulatory and compliance experience as a Solution Architect\nHealthcare industry background in Claims or Enrollment domains\nHands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, API/Web Services, Angular/UX, DB2, and AWS Cloud\nExperience collaborating with stakeholders within a SAFE/Agile framework\nDemonstrated ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions, align new capabilities with enterprise guidelines, and provide end-to-end architecture design for features/products/capabilities\nExperience authoring architecture design documentation for use by development teams\nAbility to coach,
