Molecular Diagnostics to lead product strategy, development, and commercialization activities for molecular diagnostic and related assay portfolios in the U.S. market.\nThis role will work closely with customers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), R&D, commercial, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality/regulatory teams to translate market and customer needs into product requirements, development priorities, and successful product launches.\nThe ideal candidate combines a strong scientific background in molecular biology and molecular diagnostics with hands-on experience in product management, cross-functional project execution, and commercialization.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine product strategy, roadmap priorities, and portfolio direction for molecular diagnostics and related product lines.\nTranslate customer needs, market trends, competitive insights, and laboratory workflow requirements into clear product requirements.\nManage the product lifecycle, including new product introduction, product upgrades, localization, customization, and phase-out planning.\nPartner with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, quality/regulatory, and commercial teams to drive product development and launch activities.\nServe as a key interface between U.S. customers and global R&D teams, ensuring alignment on technical requirements, priorities, timelines, and deliverables.\nSupport molecular diagnostic workflows including specimen collection, sample preparation, nucleic acid extraction, amplification, interpretation, and reporting.\nCollaborate with scientific and technical teams on assay/panel design, performance targets, cutoff criteria, usability, acceptance criteria, and product transfer readiness.\nIdentify product risks, workflow challenges, usability gaps, and technical issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution.\nSupport OEM, customized, and localized product opportunities for customers, partners, and distributors.\nPartner with commercial teams and KOLs to gather market feedback and continuously improve product-market fit.\nDevelop product documentation, training materials, technical presentations, and customer-facing product information.\nTrack project milestones, risks, action items, and dependencies to ensure timely execution.\nUse AI and productivity tools to improve product documentation, customer-feedback analysis, reporting, and internal workflows while maintaining appropriate accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance standards.\nRequired Qualifications\nPhD in Molecular Biology, Biology, Biomedical Science, Clinical Medicine, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.\n3-5+ years of relevant experience in molecular diagnostics, IVD, LDT, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related technical product environment.\nStrong technical understanding of PCR, qPCR, NGS, nucleic acid testing, assay development, and molecular diagnostic workflows.\nExperience in product management, technical product management, product development, or product commercialization.\nProven ability to translate customer, market, and technical requirements into product requirements, project plans, and launch activities.\nStrong cross-functional leadership and project management skills.\nExperience working with customers, KOLs, commercial teams, technical teams, or external partners.\nExcellent communication, documentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both highly technical/scientific stakeholders and business teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with molecular diagnostic assays, clinical laboratory workflows, or IVD products.\nExperience supporting U.S. product launches, product localization, or commercialization activities.\nExperience working with global or cross-border R&D and manufacturing teams.\nFamiliarity with regulatory and quality considerations associated with diagnostic or life-science products.\nExperience with tools such as Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, or similar project and collaboration platforms.\nIdeal Candidate\nThe successful candidate will be a scientifically strong, commercially minded product leader who can bridge customers, laboratory workflows, R&D, and business teams.
