The Lead Software Engineer provides technical leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on engineering contributions across delivery teams, working closely with product, business, architecture, and engineering partners. This is a contractor role and does not include people management responsibilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as senior technical contributor and technical owner for one or more major sub-systems within the Digital Platform\nCollaborate with business partners, product managers, architects, and engineering teams to understand strategic objectives, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria\nProvide technical leadership for design and development of custom product features on the Digital roadmap\nBuild engaging, performant, secure, and resilient applications and APIs\nDesign and/or redesign solution architecture to improve system performance, scalability, maintainability, and resiliency\nDevelop high-quality, well-tested software aligned with engineering standards and delivery timelines\nContribute to automated testing through unit, integration, and functional test suites\nConduct code reviews and provide technical feedback to other developers\nContribute to the evolution of platform architecture for greater flexibility, testability, scalability, and maintainability\nCollaborate effectively with globally distributed teams while operating as a senior individual contributor\nMandatory Skills\n8+ years of full-stack web application development experience with a proven track record of delivering well-architected software\n4+ years of Azure and/or AWS cloud-native development experience; PaaS experience preferred\n4+ years of experience in web and REST API development using ASP.NET Core\nExperience with OIDC and OAuth2 for web authentication and authorization\nExperience with SQL and NoSQL database platforms;
