Chef!\n Main duties:\nDirecting the food preparation process and delegating tasks\nCooking and preparing high quality dishes\nAssisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes\nSupervising all kitchen stations\nSupervising, motivating and working closely with other Chefs of all levels\nBeing responsible for health and safety\nBeing responsible for food hygiene practices \nEnsuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created\nAssisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering\nEnsuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines\nThe ideal candidate:\nPossess 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or 5 years as a Chef de Partie in a 4* or 5* hotel or fine dining restaurant\nHave strong communication and organisational skills: these are a must as this is a busy, dynamic role.\nBe flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings and on occasion, early mornings.\nGood knowledge of all sections\nAbility to produce good quality food\nTeam management skills\nHigh level of attention to detail\nGood level of numeracy\nEnthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you\nAdaptablity to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes\nAbility to work unsupervised and deliver quality work \nPositive and approachable
