JavaScript Developer

We are looking for a JavaScript Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience and a strong academic pedigree from a top-tier engineering institute. You will be responsible for building or contributing to interactive, performance-sensitive applications, ideally games or game-like experiences, and bringing that rigor to building fast, engaging web products for a leading mid-sized startup in the gaming industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain performant, interactive JavaScript applications, with a focus on smooth rendering, animation, and real-time interaction.
• Work across the front-end stack (JS/TypeScript, HTML5 Canvas/WebGL, modern frameworks) to ship features that feel responsive and polished.
• Apply game development principles (frame rate optimization, state/physics management, asset loading, input handling) to non-game product surfaces where relevant.
• Collaborate closely with design and product to translate interactive/UX concepts into production code.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and optimize for performance across browsers and devices.

Requirements:

• Required Skills: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 Canvas, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, asynchronous programming.
• Good to Have: Phaser.js, Three.js, PixiJS, WebGL, Unity, C#, Node.js, GSAP, Framer Motion, Matter.js, Box2D.
• Soft Skills: Collaboration, Problem Solving, Debugging, Optimization.
• Critical Skills: JavaScript, TypeScript.
