Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do:\nThis role provides hands-on engineering support to production within the Vapor Phase Aluminide (VPA) Coating Cell, with the flexibility to support other coating processes within the Metallic Business Unit as needed. This role focuses on rapid response to quality and process disruptions to maintain continuous part flow and driving data driven improvements to manufacturing processes.\nRespond rapidly to quality issues and work stoppages on the production floor\nTroubleshoot and resolve process interruptions to maintain continuous part flow and minimize downtime\nProvide real-time technical support to operators and operation leaders during production shifts\nCoordinate with quality, maintenance, EH&S, and engineering teams to rapidly contain and resolve manufacturing issues.\nLead or support root cause investigations for production issues and yield losses.\nSupport implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions.\nIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce downtime, improve yield, and enhance equipment utilization.\nSupport process development, trials, and qualification activities for parts, processes, or equipment.\nSupport documentation updates including work instructions, control plans, and engineering standards.\nSupport training of operators on process standards and troubleshooting techniques.\nThis is a 2nd shift role; schedule is Weekday evenings to Early morning hours. There is a shift premium associated with the compensation plan for working this shift.\n Qualifications You Must Have:\nHS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training), with 4 to 8 years' relevant experience.\nHands-on experience supporting coating processes in a production setting is strongly preferred.\nU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.\nAbility to collect and analyze production or quality data to support problem solving and process improvements.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nExperience supporting production environments and working directly with operators and cross-functional teams.\nDemonstrated ability to trouble shoot manufacturing process issues and equipment disruptions.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nAerospace Industry experience\nHands-on experience in a manufacturing coatings environment is strongly preferred.\nExperience with equipment qualifications and process trials.\nLearn More & Apply Now!\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.\nThis position is classified as:\nOnsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
