Process Center Electrical Assembler is responsible for operating and maintaining SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment to produce high-quality electronic assemblies. Performs machine setup, component loading, inspection, and basic troubleshooting. Ensures adherence to manufacturing standards, safety practices, and production schedules while supporting continuous improvement activities.

Hours:

2nd Shift (3:30PM-2:00AM). Monday-Thursday. Candidate must be able to train on 1st shift.

What You Will Do:

• Once trained and/or certified, perform tasks including soldering, hardware installation, post-coating, and operating and maintaining SMT equipment.

• Inspect your own work under close supervision to ensure it meets workmanship standards, engineering requirements, and design specifications.

• Maintain expected productivity levels to meet customer deadlines.

• Follow all company rules and regulations, including Environmental Health & Safety, Ethics & Compliance, Quality, and attendance expectations.
• Acquire applicable skills, knowledge, certifications, and complete all required training.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized condition.

• Provide progress updates to leads or supervisors.

• Successfully pass a soldering assessment following provided training.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods throughout the full shift.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks associated with assembly and soldering work.

• Ability to work in a production environment using tools, equipment, and materials required for hardware assembly.

• Ability to follow safety procedures and properly handle components and hardware.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline, plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Career Readiness Certificate (CRC).

• Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, assembly instructions, standard work processes, and other technical or procedural documentation.

• Ability to follow safety requirements, work instructions, and direction from experienced coworkers, leads, and supervisors.

• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills to support safety and quality.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, organize tasks, and manage multiple priorities while understanding the end-use applications of products being built.
