We’relooking for a collaborative, results-driven program Mechanical Engineer whothrives in complex, fast-paced environments. You bring strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and technical deliverables while keeping cross-functional teams aligned. You’reproactive, organized, and comfortable working with both internal teams and customers to solve challenges and drive programs to successful completion.

What You Will Do

• Lead project planning and execution, including the development and management of Integrated Master Schedules, detailed program plans, and key project milestones.

• Manage program budgets and performancethrough the Collins Earned Value Management System (EVMS), ensuring effective cost and schedule control.

• Coordinate Systems Integration activitiesacross development, qualification, and documentation to ensure high-quality andtimelydeliverables.

• Drive change and risk management,identifyingpotential challenges early, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing recovery plans when necessary.

• Lead program status meetings, partnering with technical leads and project teams to monitorprogress, address issues, and maintainalignment on priorities.

• Collaborate across functional organizationsto resolve complex issues and keep projects moving forward in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Engage with internal and external stakeholdersto communicate program status, manage expectations, and support overall customer satisfaction.

• Apply strong problem-solving and communication skillsto navigate complex technical and programmatic challenges and drive projects to successful completion.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field orin absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project.

• Experience supporting Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to monitorprogram budgets, costs, and schedule performance.

• Experience applying Change Management and Risk Management tools, processes, and best practices.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with technical leads, cross-functional stakeholders, customers, and external partners.

• Strong communicationand presentation skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise program updates and effectively lead status meetings.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identifyproject challenges, assess impacts, and drive effective solutions.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
