Location: Tucson, AZ.\nWhat You Will Do\nAs Human Factors Engineer II, your responsibilities will include:\nDevelop and implement Human Factors programs in compliance with MIL-STD-1472.\nExecute Human Factors tasks and analyses aligned with MIL-STD-1472 requirements.\nLead Human Factors Engineering efforts across integrated product teams to identify, eliminate, or mitigate system hazards.\nCoordinate with customer Human Factors representatives to clarify system requirements and ensure proper allocation across software, hardware, and test teams.\nConduct Human Factors planning, hazard analyses, and design evaluations.\nPresent Human Factors considerations during technical reviews and throughout the engineering approval process.\nInterpret system requirements, customer specifications, and applicable military and commercial standards.\nPrepare internal and customer-facing reports documenting Human Factors analyses and program activities.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product architecture and design impacts.\nInterface with Systems Engineering, Software/Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Hardware Engineering to ensure consistent Human Factors integration.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience\nExperience with Human Factors Engineering, Human Systems Integration, or Safety Engineering\nExperience with hardware and/or software\nQualifications We Prefer\nActive/Existing DoD clearance\nExperience defense, aerospace, or safety-critical systems\nExperience with requirements development or systems engineering processes\n·Experience with usability evaluation, task analysis, or human performance concepts (internship level acceptable)\nExperience with user interface design concepts, wireframing, or prototyping tools\nExperience with MIL-STD-1472 human factors concepts (introductory exposure acceptable)\nExperience with MIL-STD-882 system safety concepts (introductory exposure acceptable) \nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
