Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nRaytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to work within the Electro-Optical Infrared (EO/IR) Solutions Sub-Business Unit in the Raytheon Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) Strategic Business Unit. In this role, you will bridge the Supply Chain and Program teams and manage materials provided by suppliers on the Pods Product Supply Chain Team. The MPM is responsible for executing the strategies and objectives of the product line to meet cost, quality, and scheduled targets for the program and business unit, ensuring that products are delivered on time to the end customer.\nOur supplier network spans small to large businesses, IOT (Interorganizational) partners, and major subcontractors that manufacture high-level assemblies, a range of commodities, and materials varying in complexity. In this position, you will collaborate and communicate with Program Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, various departments within the Factory organization, Contracts, Customers, and other support functions to ensure rapidly shifting production requirements, material challenges, and competing priorities are successfully executed.\nWhat You Will Do\nManage and develop the relationship with Raytheon sub-tier supplier(s) in conjunction with the acquisition professional.\nCoordinate program needs with Engineering, Program Operations, Production Control, and Scheduling.\nServe as a liaison between suppliers, internal supply chain, engineering, and program management to ensure supplier health and resolve technical or delivery concerns.\nInfluence and build strong partnerships across multiple functions supporting the programs.\nPrepare documentation and present updates to senior leadership.\nDevelop and implement material strategies that support multi-year production plans in collaboration with PMO, CGO, and program supply chain teams.\nParticipate in supplier engagements and reviews to monitor performance and drive improvement.\nTravel to key suppliers to support program activities such as (but not limited to): Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Technical Interchange meetings (TIM), Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRA), etc.\nIdentify supply gaps and define strategies to close them.\nDevelop and execute risk and opportunity plans that support program objectives.\nEncourage Supplier Management Best Practices, including risk mitigation and subcontract management plans.\nTrack supplier delivery forecasts and related sales for reporting to OSC and program leadership.\nThis role will require you to be onsite in our McKinney, TX facility.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.\nSupply Chain experience.\nExperience in ERP systems.\nExperience in Program & Cross-Functional Coordination\nQualifications We Prefer\nExperience in supply chain and aerospace or defense industry.\nFinancial acumen and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification.\nExperience leading or participating in cross-functional teams.\nLearn More & Apply Now!\nPlease consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role.Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
