This position requires use of hand tools. The Production Assembler ensures that work is accomplished with high quality, in a timely fashion and is compliant with all company, city, state and federal regulations.\nWhat You Will Do:\nAssemble and repair wide range or electromechanical assemblies using standard manufacturing and repair techniques.\nIdentify correct parts, components, wires, and other materials related to various assemblies.\nRead and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, and engineering prints.\nCommunicate work status to team members and support staff (e.g., shift pass down, engineering, maintenance).\nUtilize computer skills for office software applications to include documentation actions associated with assembling or repair production hardware.\nBe responsible for quality product standards to minimize defect.\nAcquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.\nMaintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.\nOther duties as assigned.\nPhysical ability to lift equipment and work in various environments, at least 15 lbs.\nThis is a 1st shift, onsite position.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.\nExperience reading and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and assembly instructions, and procedure manuals, etc.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
