The company, formed in 2020 through the combination of Raytheon Company and the United Technologies Corporation aerospace businesses, is headquartered in Arlington, VA.\nThe following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services (ES) Strategy and Transformation Team:\nThis role is responsible for integrating all aspects of the digital sourcing functions into Enterprise Services (ES) Strategy and Transformation initiatives through collaborating and partnering with suppliers, ES leaders, and functional service owners. A key component of the role is to develop supplier capabilities, partnerships and category strategies for enterprise collaboration tools and services.\nThe ideal candidate will draw from past experience with various software, hardware and labor suppliers and can assist with translating this knowledge via contract negotiations and project management skills to lead the coordination, communication and integration of suppliers to support the achievement of technical, financial and performance objectives. This individual will have an understanding of supplier products/services and develop various strategies to drive year on year cost savings to help RTX meet its bottom line.\nAn understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, from contract negotiations to requisition and PO placement is needed for this role. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to develop effective presentations and present to leadership and peers.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSpecific responsibilities will include but not limited to:\nDrives contract requirements and negotiations, primarily for hardware and labor suppliers related to end user environment, with a concentration on DXC and Dell.\nAssess and onboard new suppliers as needed\nAligns with Digital IT stakeholders on vendor consolidation activities to drive contract savings\nDevelops, manages, and partners with stakeholders on an integrated master schedule of engagements, renewals, RFXs, etc.\nFacilitate supplier performance reviews, benchmarks & reporting\nReviews Statements of Work (SOW) documents and ensures sourcing best practices are followed\nAnalyze pricing and negotiating complex technology agreements\nBuild strong partnerships across various stakeholders (legal, finance, etc.)\nDevelop strong supplier relationships to drive effectiveness and value\nSupports the investigation, negotiation and favorable resolution of disputes with suppliers\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to proactively identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively\nDevelop executive level analysis & presentations \nWork with Stakeholders on benchmarking industry trends and changes, as requested.\nPartner with key stakeholders on strategic vendor meetings and strategies.\n Qualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience. \nCandidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with an MBA preferred.\nExperience with sourcing roles and functions, including creating sourcing roadmaps, developing category strategies, licensing/asset management, risk management, and requirement change management\nExpert understanding of all major Dell products, including all end user & server hardware products and product roadmaps. \nExpertise in drafting, negotiating and interpreting sophisticated commercial agreements; Excellent negotiations and sourcing skills with understanding of different contract types\nBuild a supplier strategy for software contracts with the ability to manage licensing, maintenance, and support requirements \nCollaboration with stakeholders in peer organizations and other operational areas to balance supplier requirements, customer experience and affordability\nDemonstrated ability to understand financial information, budgets and program performance and develop strategies and business cases to improve performance in these areas\nBusiness acumen to connect technical requirements and concerns to contract performance\nHands-on experience with Ariba (or similar product) to manage sourcing and contract activities (P2P)\n Qualifications We Prefer:\nMinimum of 10 years Consulting, Sourcing and Procurement Management with at least 3 years in Digital IT preferred\nStrong project management skills and ability to convert requirements into executable strategies, and ability to develop and manage an integrated master schedule (PMP® a plus)\nAbility to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors\nAbility to develop effective presentations and documents used for leadership reviews.\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.
