We are seeking a Senior Software Integration and Test (SWIT) Engineer to join the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) Software Department. The MDS Software mission is to provide world-class radar and Command and Control (C2) Software for our customers’ wide array of surveillance and warning systems. SWIT Engineers are responsible for integrating our software into a system and troubleshooting issues, designing new test cases and analyzing performance.

This is an onsite role in Woburn, MA.

What You Will Do

• Lead the installation, integration, and configuration of new radar builds, software updates, and patches onto lab systems.
• Drive the troubleshooting and resolution of highly complex software and system issues in a Linux environment, working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures to validate new software builds, ensuring they meet system requirements and operational performance standards.
• Analyze system performance data to identify and implement improvements to the software baseline.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight on integration and testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including systems, hardware, and cybersecurity specialists, to support the development and deployment of robust radar system solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration and testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Prepare and present technical documentation, including test reports, analysis findings, and recommendations, to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

• Experience in software integration, testing, troubleshooting or administration in a Linux-based environment.

• Software development and debugging skills using languages such as C++, Python, or similar.

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required after start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advanced knowledge of radar systems, real-time software, or missile defense applications.
• Experience working in field-deployed operational support roles, including direct interaction with customers and end-users.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• Experience with system integration labs (SIL) or hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing environments.
• Understanding of cybersecurity and information assurance requirements in a Linux setting.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring junior engineers and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading software integration and testing efforts for real-time or mission-critical systems.
• Experience with software configuration management tools such as Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
