Solipsys Corporation, located in Fulton, MD, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raytheon Technologies (RTX). What You Will Do:

• You will develop innovative new features for a new real-time situational awareness Command & Control Systems (C2) using Java.
• You will design, architect and code critical capabilities in an active Agile environment.
• Work in a highly collaborate team environment to design, architect and innovate software solutions.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

What You Will Learn:

• You will learn how to develop high quality software to support real-time situational awareness Command & Control Systems (C2) systems.
• You will learn how to support engineering process improvements, audits and peer reviews.
• You will learn how to work within a highly collaborative software team and interface with other engineering disciplines as needed to meet program contract milestones.
• You will learn how to update documentation related to test, verification, and design activities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Master's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience in programming multithreaded systems.
• Experience in software development using Java or C++.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Strong computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms and information retrieval.
• Relevant work experience using SW Development tools (e.g. Maven, Apache Ant, Jenkins, etc).
• Relevant work experience with full life cycle development including exposure to software requirements, design, development, debug and test.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
