Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWe are currently seeking a Software Security Engineer II to join our Software Product Assurance team in Goleta, Santa Barbara County, CA.\nRaytheon Goleta, CA Location\nWhat You Will Do:\nOur mission is to provide world class Security Software to be used in developing and supporting deployed sensor systems on various platforms.\nImplement Software Security principles to embedded software design, development, integration, and testing of real-time sensor software.\nDevelop software applications using C and C++ languages on a variety of computing platforms\nEnsure the SW Product Assurance processes are followed on our programs\nUnderstand real-time software design and the performance implications associated with specific System Security implementations.\nWork closely with cross functional Engineering teams to define and implement Test Driven Multidisciplinary Capability (TDMC) based execution development and deployment requirements.\nWork in a common development environment to support and facilitate program ability to leverage specific capabilities.\nInterface with customer community to review technical design and support verification of system maturity.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant software experience\nExperience developing software using C / C++.\nExperience with embedded OS like VxWorks, Embedded Linux, or similar\nThe ability to obtain and maintain an ***interim Secret U.S. security clearance is required prior to start date.
