You’ll partner with specialists across software, firmware, and 6DoF simulation to mature ideas from early concept to proven capability to achieve overall system performance requirements.\nWhat You Will Do\nDevelop and refine flight-control algorithms that enhance overall performance and robustness.\nCollaborate with a cross-disciplinary engineering team to integrate embedded flight-control software into full-system simulations.\nUse simulation, ground-test data, and flight-test data to evaluate air-vehicle and missile performance.\nDiagnose and resolve control-system challenges at various stages of design and integration.\nSupport the development of system architectures, requirements, and technical plans for major program milestones.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience\nExperience in flight-control design or analysis\nExperience with at least two of the following:Classical control system design\nState-space control system design\nModeling system dynamics\nState-estimation methods\n\nExperience programing in a compiled language such as C++, Ada, or Fortran.\nExperience with MATLAB and/or Simulink.\nAbility to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start.
