Supply Chain Associate/Warehouse Operative

Livingston, onsite fulltime

12-month Fixed Term Contract

To support the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse by receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods accurately and safely, while maintaining high standards of organisation and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming deliveries against relevant documentation.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and within required timescales.
• Prepare goods for dispatch and ensure they are correctly labelled.
• Carry out stock checks and assist with regular stocktaking.
• Keep accurate records of stock movements and warehouse activities.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment where trained and authorised.
• Ensure goods are stored correctly and securely.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and warehouse processes.
• Report damaged, missing or incorrect stock to the appropriate manager.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Carry out other reasonable warehouse duties as required.

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not always essential.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Forklift/FLT experience or certification is advantageous, where applicable.

Working Conditions

• The role may involve regular lifting, carrying, bending and standing.
• May involve working to targets and deadlines.
• Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn where required.
