Whether we’re in the studio, building world-class technology, or securing record Outdoor advertising partnerships, we make sure we’re doing it as a team.\nYour Role: Junior Shooter Editor, reporting to the Senior Video Producer.\nAs a Junior Shooter Editor at Global, you will be working alongside our video, social and radio teams to capture and edit outstanding, engaging video content that ensures Global remains at the top of the media industry, with your focus being on the Heart brand.\nThe working days for this role will be Saturdays, for Saturday Breakfast, and four days in the week. With your working weekdays negotiable with your manager.\nYour main place of work will be our central London office in Leicester Square, London. At least 3 days a week will be office based, with 2 days working remotely with our current Smart Working arrangement.\nThe nature of the work we do here at Global means you will occasionally be required to work evenings and weekends for various productions and live events. There is also occasional international travel attached to some of our productions.\nKey Responsibilities\nYou will be creating stand out social content that our audiences will want to share. Your ideas will help bring our brands alive online and across social media.\nShoot and edit a broad range of video content both short and longform for Global’s social channels, Global Player and YouTube. \nVision Mix live and edit pre-recorded video that will broadcast on Global Player, aligning with on-air TX schedules or live events. \nWork with various teams on and off air to bring ideas to life, contributing to the brand's growth. \nWork with presenters and A-list celebrities to create engaging social content for our digital audience. \nWhat You’ll Love About This Role\nThink Big: Every day is different - you will be working across a huge breadth of content. \nOwn It: The opportunity to work on big video projects and to challenge yourself. \nKeep it Simple: Bring fresh ideas to our social video output, support our talent, and help us connect with new and existing audiences. \nBetter Together: Working with a hugely talented team - you will learn a lot quickly. \nWhat Success Looks Like\nIn your first few months, you’ll have:\nHelped shape Heart's video output with the creation and delivery of original formats/series, large-scale productions and thumb-stopping social content. \nEdited a broad range of video content, delivering huge numbers across social. \nLearned new, and improved upon existing, video production skills and techniques. \nFostered and grown relationships across Heart and Global. \nUnderstood and adopted internal processes, workflows and policies. \nWhat You’ll Need\nExperience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects. \nCamera operating and shoot experience. We film on a range of different cameras depending on the production, but we’ll teach you everything you need to know. \nA solid understanding of various social media platforms, including YouTube, and how to cater content to differing audiences. \nWorking knowledge of video production techniques and workflows.
