This role supports the efficient and accurate adaptation of products across multiple languages and platforms.\nKey Responsibilities\nExtract, prepare, and re-integrate translatable content from various source files and formats (e.g., XML, JSON, HTML, CSV, XLIFF, SCORM, Articulate, etc.).\nDevelop, maintain, and optimise localisation workflows, automation scripts, and tools to support translation and localisation processes.\nTroubleshoot localisation-related technical issues including encoding, text display, formatting, and layout problems.\nManage and maintain translation memory (TM), terminology databases, and other linguistic assets.\nTroubleshoot MT-based and LLM-based localisation processes\nConduct quality assurance checks on localised content to verify linguistic and functional accuracy.\nDocument engineering procedures, standards, and best practices for localisation teams.\nStay updated on localisation technologies, industry standards, and best practices to continuously improve localisation processes.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Localisation, or related field.\nExperience with localisation engineering in a language services or software environment.\nProficiency with localisation file formats (XLIFF, JSON, TMX, etc.) and tools (e.g., Phrase, Trados, memoQ, Crowdin, Okapi).\nKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Javascript, or VBA for task automation.\nUnderstanding of character encoding, Unicode, and BiDi text processing.\nFamiliarity with software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nDeep knowledge of Elearning formats and processes.\nFamiliarity with machine translation and post-editing
