Represent Global Maritime when attending on-site and at shipyards. Assist with the maintenance of client relationships, business development and tender preparation.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nManage projects with 1-5 engineers, providing both leadership and hands-on engineering support\nPrepare complete ship installation documentation (single-line diagrams, block diagrams and detailed termination drawings) in line with DNV, LR, BV and other classification society standards\nDevelop material lists for cables, breakers, junction boxes, trays and glands\nSelect electrical equipment tailored to client needs\nSupervise shipyard construction phases and support vessel delivery\nProvide expert consultancy across diverse electrical engineering challenges\nParticipate in the training, mentoring and oversight of the work of others\nAssist with the review and quality assurance of the work of others\nAssist in the marketing of Global Maritime and the preparation of proposals for new work\nAssist with the delivery of services across Global Maritime’s business streams as workload demands\nSpecific Skills, Knowledge and Experience required\nStrong background in marine electrical engineering and design, with a minimum of 8 years’ related industry experience\nExperience with classification society standards (DNV, LR, BV) and ship installations\nAbility to lead small teams while remaining hands-on\nStrong communication skills for working with clients and shipyards\nWillingness to travel for yard supervision\nFluency in English and Polish is required for this position\nMEng / MSc (or Bachelor with equivalent experience) \nCompetencies\nAble to work independently and as an effective member of a team, working towards personal and team goals, and promotes team working\nCommunicates technical information in a professional and effective manner with external clients and colleagues\nSolves sometimes complex problems using efficient and robust methodologies\nApplies basic project management principles when managing projects and in own activities\nConsiders commercial aspects when managing projects and for own activities and achieves an appropriate balance between quality and cost in projects\nUses a knowledge of team objectives and is self-motivated to achieve personal and team targets\nHealth and Safety\nTo uphold and provide leadership in the Company’s Health & Safety requirements with particular regard to agreed codes of practice and safe methods of working.\nQuality\nTo follow and provide leadership in following the group Business Management System.\nEqualities\nTo uphold and carry out the duties of the post with due regard to the Company’s ‘Equal Opportunities and Dignity at Work Policy’.\nCompany Values\nTo uphold the company values as set out in the Mission Statement.\nYour duties will be as set out in the above job description but please note that the Company reserves the right to update your job description from time to time, to reflect changes in, or to, your role.
