We show up every day with grit, passion, and purpose-anticipating needs, building lasting relationships, and creating shared value.\nYour Role, Your Impact\nPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nCulinary Leadership & Execution\nOversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency.\nPrepare, cook, and present menu items according to company standards and recipes.\nLead daily prep and production, ensuring all food meets freshness and flavor expectations.\nDevelop and inspire a culinary team that takes pride in craftsmanship and collaboration.\nMaintain consistent portion control, presentation, and timing across all menu offerings.\nAccountable for monitoring and achieving sales, margin, expense and labor targets.\nTeam Management & Training\nHire, train, and mentor kitchen staff to uphold Alltown Fresh standards.\nCreate a positive, inclusive, and high-performing kitchen culture.\nProvide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure excellence.\nLead by example - modeling professionalism, efficiency, and hospitality under pressure.\nFood Safety & Sanitation\nEnforce all food safety, sanitation, and allergen management procedures.\nMaintain compliance with local, state, and company health standards.\nEnsure all kitchen areas, tools, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained daily.\nConduct regular temperature checks, audits, and safety inspections.\nPromote a culture of cleanliness, safety, and accountability throughout the kitchen.\nInventory & Cost Management\nManage inventory levels, ordering, and receiving of products.\nMonitor food and labor costs to achieve budget goals and minimize waste.\nMaintain accurate records of prep levels, waste logs, and daily production.\nWork with management to forecast and plan for business volume and menu demand.\nGuest Experience & Brand Integrity\nEnsure every dish reflects the Alltown Fresh promise of Fresh, Local, and Honest Food.\nRepresent the brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to hospitality.\nContinuously seek opportunities to elevate food quality, presentation, and consistency.\nQualifications\nQUALIFICATIONS\nThis position requires ServSafe, or other approved Food Safety Certification, within 90 days of employment or promotion.\nMust be 18 years of age or older.\nMust have current Food Safety Certification\n3-5 years of experience in a high-volume foodservice environment, with 1-2 years of kitchen leadership or management experience.\nProven ability to manage kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and cost control principles.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.\nAbility to train, motivate, and lead a diverse kitchen team.\nPassion for local sourcing, fresh ingredients, and authentic hospitality.\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.\nFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.\nAbility to work near heat, cold, and wet surfaces.\nExtended periods of standing and working in a high-volume kitchen.\nSafe and efficient use of knives, kitchen tools, and cooking equipment required.\nHigh School Diploma\nPay Range$61,000.00 - $79,000.00The pay range for this position is outlined above.
