We show up every day with grit, passion, and purpose-anticipating needs, building lasting relationships, and creating shared value.\nYour Role, Your Impact\nBlending Program Management\nDevelop, implement, and manage refined product blending programs across the terminal network.\nEstablish standardized blending processes, procedures, and operating practices.\nEvaluate blending opportunities to improve product value, flexibility, capacity, and operational efficiency.\nDevelop blending strategies based on product specifications, supply availability, terminal capabilities, customer requirements, and economics.\nSupport the development and implementation of gasoline, diesel, butane, and other applicable blending programs.\nEstablish appropriate controls for blend components, treat rates, recipes, inventories, and finished product specifications.\nIdentify opportunities to expand or optimize blending capabilities across the terminal network.\nTechnical and Operational Support\nProvide technical expertise and operational support to terminal teams for blending activities.\nTroubleshoot blending system, equipment, process, and product quality issues.\nWork with Engineering and Tech Services on the design, modification, and implementation of blending systems and equipment.\nReview terminal capabilities and identify required infrastructure, equipment, instrumentation, and controls to support blending programs.\nSupport commissioning and startup of new blending systems and modifications.\nEstablish operating parameters and controls necessary to achieve consistent and reliable blending performance. Support terminal teams in resolving blending-related operational issues.\nProduct Quality and Compliance\nWork closely with Product Quality to ensure blended products meet applicable specifications and customer requirements.\nDevelop and maintain blending procedures that support consistent product quality.\nEnsure blending processes are aligned with applicable ASTM, API, regulatory, and company requirements.\nParticipate in investigations of off-specification product, contamination, blending errors, or other product quality incidents.\nDevelop and implement corrective and preventive actions related to blending activities.\nSupport audits, inspections, and compliance activities related to blending operations.\nProcess Standardization and Continuous Improvement\nDevelop standardized blending procedures and best practices for use across the terminal network.\nIdentify opportunities to improve blending accuracy, reliability, capacity, flexibility, and cost performance.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives related to blending operations.\nEstablish performance metrics to measure blending effectiveness and goal attainment.\nEvaluate lessons learned from blending projects and incidents and incorporate improvements into company standards.\nSupport the development and maintenance of blending-related sections of the Operations Manual and applicable SOPs.\nInventory and Economic Optimization\nWork with Supply & Trading and Commercial teams to understand supply, demand, and blending requirements.\nOptimize component inventories and blending capacity to support operational and commercial objectives.\nEvaluate blending opportunities based on product availability, specifications, storage capacity, and economics.\nSupport analysis of blend yields, component usage, product quality, and value extraction.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce product losses, improve component utilization, and increase blending flexibility.\nSystems, Data and Reporting\nWork with IT and Data Systems to develop automated blending systems, controls, dashboards, and reporting.\nEstablish appropriate data requirements for monitoring blending performance.\nTrack and analyze blending metrics, including component usage, blend accuracy, product quality, inventory, losses, and operational performance.\nSupport development and implementation of systems that improve visibility and control of blending operations.\nMaintain accurate blending documentation, procedures, recipes, and operational records.\nTeam Leadership and Training\nProvide technical leadership and training to terminal personnel responsible for blending activities.\nDevelop training materials and operating guidance for blending processes and systems.\n Foster a culture of operational discipline, continuous improvement, and accountability.\nWork with terminal leadership to ensure blending procedures are properly implemented and consistently followed.\nProvide subject matter expertise to cross-functional teams on blending-related projects and initiatives.\nProject and Change Management\nLead or support blending-related projects from concept through implementation.\nParticipate in Management of Change (MOC) processes associated with blending systems, procedures, equipment, and products.\nCoordinate with Engineering, Operations, EHS, Product Quality, IT, Supply & Trading, and Commercial teams during project development and implementation.\nEvaluate proposed changes for operational, technical, safety, quality, and economic impacts.\nSupport project commissioning, startup, and post-implementation evaluation.\nQualifications\nStrong knowledge of refined petroleum products and terminal operations.\nDemonstrated knowledge of petroleum product blending principles and practices.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong understanding of product specifications and quality requirements.\nAbility to evaluate blending processes from both an operational and economic perspective.\nStrong project management and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to develop and implement standardized procedures and processes.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex operational and technical issues.\nAbility to work effectively across multiple functional areas and terminal locations.\nFamiliarity with applicable ASTM, API, regulatory, and industry standards.\nProficiency with operational, inventory, data, and reporting systems.\nAbility to lead change and drive standardization across a geographically dispersed terminal network.\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Operations, or a related field.\nPay Range$118,400.00 - $177,600.00The pay range for this position is outlined above.
