We’re looking for an Accountant II to join our ever-evolving\nteam and help shape the future of global commerce.\nWhat you’ll own\nManage NAP Platform and US Scheme settlement processes, ensuring accurate execution, reconciliation, and reporting activities.\nReview, validate, and approve standard journal entries, while preparing and posting more complex journals in line with accounting requirements.\nLead the investigation and resolution of complex settlement discrepancies, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.\nProduce weekly and monthly management information (MI), performance reporting, and executive-level reporting packs to support business decision-making.\nCoordinate and prioritise team activities, ensuring workloads are effectively managed and resources are allocated appropriately.\nDelegate daily tasks and provide direction to team members to ensure operational objectives are met.\nCoach the team through any identified training gaps and errors made throughout the month.\nMonitor and prioritise workloads throughout the day to ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved.\nWhat you’ll bring\nPrevious experience within settlements and / or reconciliations.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to proactively engage and collaborate with colleagues across all levels of the organisation to obtain information and resolve issues.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.\nSelf-motivated and capable of working independently, demonstrating initiative and sound judgement.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyse data, produce reports, and support operational decision-making.\nStrong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines and business objectives\nIt’s a bonus if you have\nAct like an owner: We take accountability - working at pace to own our outcomes.
