You will take responsibility for stakeholder\nengagement as well as guiding development teams towards product delivery. You should be hands on technically but also have strong soft skills, be able to\ncollaborate with colleagues and business partners but also work through a problem alone.\nPartner with the business teams/stakeholders to understand their strategic goals and help them\ndrive value through data/analytics capability and technology\nIdentify & develop opportunities to improve existing analytical & data solutions\nDeliver industry best practice products and solutions\nTake personal responsibility for quality of individual deliverables, and contribute to the quality\nassurance of the team’s deliverables\nPro-actively contribute to troubleshooting of data requirements, data modelling, data quality\nand data governance issues with the wider EBDS Team\nBecome an integral part of the team, supporting key projects and programs critical to its success\nWhat you’ll bring\nStrong technical/development skills with ability to be hands on as required. Must include\nexcellent SQL skills supported by skills and experience in the array of tools, languages and\nproducts that support the Data industry, a focus being SSMS/SSIS and Oracle database design\nExtensive Experience capturing and translating complex business requirements in to practical\nsolutions\nExcellent communication skills, able to tailor results into language appropriate for the audience\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills with an eye for detail\nWillingness to learn and adapt with a positive attitude\nIt’s a bonus if you have\nExperience using Salesforce to manage client activity and maintain accurate, compliant records.\nA background in payments, fintech, or a client-facing commercial role.\nExperience using data or insights to improve client performance, retention, or growth.\nAbout the team\nWe position ourselves as trusted business partners and work very closely with both business and technical stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and develop data products to drive value.
