As a member of the squad, you will also have deep understanding of the product and industry you are building for.\nMain Duties and Responsibilities:\nCollaboratively develop the features and engineering capabilities for the products your squad own. We aim to employ automation for everything\nCollaborate in all stages of development from requirement discussions with the Product Owner to the deployment of the feature in the cloud\nJoin the on-call rota to support the highly available products developed by the squad\nProvide your squad with the tools to enable data driven decision making\nSupporting and mentoring more junior engineers within the squad\nCollaborate with your fellow engineers from other squads to make decisions around technologies, patterns and approaches to adopt\nWhat you’ll bring\nAt least two years’ experience using design and implementation best practices for the development of web applications that are user friendly and easy to maintain.\nExperience building web applications with Node, JavaScript, TypeScript, React and web application frameworks.\nExperience with browser testing tools like browser-stack.\nExperience with Test Driven Development.\nExperience provisioning infrastructure in AWS.\nAn engineering skillset that is focused on quality and a test first philosophy, regardless of the activity.\nAn agile mindset where you will drive both your squad and the wider tribe towards better ways of working.\nAn inquisitive personality that is always looking for constant improvement opportunity.\nIt’s a bonus if you have\nExperience setting up CI/CD pipelines\nExperience with Terraform\nExperience with Redux, Scully, Cypress or Nest.js\nExposure to the Payments industry domain (especially Cards and other payment schemes)\nExposure to PCI-DSS\nAbout the team\nOur inclusive and global teams win together every day.
