Develops business plans; conducts research and analysis on industries, markets, products, and companies; performs qualitative, quantitative, and financial analysis. Prepares and delivers written and oral presentations.\nWhat Part Will You Play?\nSupports initiatives in corporate strategy development; strategic planning; acquisition, divestiture, and joint venturing activities; corporate business development; and internal consulting engagements - receiving general guidance on moderately complex issues and situations.\nSupports activities with Global Payments’ executive team to define the mission, vision, goals (“definition of winning”), and strategic priorities (“plan to win”) for Global Payments’ business segments.\nSupports execution of components of the process by which the company and its business units develop their mid- to long-range plans.\nSupports pipeline development; evaluation; planning; due diligence; negotiation; deal structuring; drafting of bid letters, term sheets and definitive agreements; and execution of acquisition, divestiture and joint venturing opportunities.\nSupports activities with internal and external partners to enable the company to develop relationships and secure business opportunities with prospective partners. This would include pipeline development; evaluation; planning; due diligence; negotiation; deal structuring; drafting of bid letters, term sheets and definitive agreements; and execution of business development opportunities.\nSupports various consulting-type engagements for the company and its business units -- serving as a key advisor and significant contributor to Global Payments’ executive teams, by providing expert assistance and thought leadership to help them manage their businesses.\nSupports the development of business plans, including authoring and editing business plan documents and presenting the plans to Global Payments’ senior executives.\nConducts very high-quality research and analysis on industries, markets, products, and companies; assesses Global Payments’ competitive position and identifies threats and opportunities; proposes plans for countering the threats and capturing the opportunities.\nPerforms expert-level qualitative, quantitative, and financial analysis.\nSupports the preparation and delivery of high-quality written and oral presentations to Global Payments’ executives, managers, and team members. Capable of delivering presentations to Global Payments’ senior executives in some instances.\nWhat Are We Looking For in This Role?\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree\nRelevant Experience or Degree in: Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering; Combination of relevant training and/ or experience in lieu of degree\nTypically Minimum 6 Years Relevant Exp\n Preferred Qualifications\nMaster's Degree\nStrongly prefers MBA\nInvestment banking or with a consulting firm or working in a corporate strategy/mergers and acquisitions team\nWhat Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities?\nSkills / Knowledge - Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve moderately complex issues in creative and effective ways.
