We’re looking for a Internal Auditor to join our ever evolving Audit Services Team within Global Payments Europe s.r.o and help shape the future of global commerce.\nWhat you’ll own \n Assist in conducting assurance reviews and audits to evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls supporting business processes and information systems \nAssist in the execution of the audit process, including planning, client coordination, fieldwork, data analysis, work paper documentation, and remediation validation \nUnderstand business and IT processes to identify risks, evaluate internal controls, and document process understanding, including the role of technology \nPerform testing of automated business process controls and IT general controls; assess IT design and operating effectiveness (access, change management, operations, security) \nDocument high-quality work papers, communicate audit results and impact, support recommendations, and coordinate with stakeholders while driving continuous improvement\nWhat you’ll bring\n1-3 years of relevant audit and risk management experience \nKnowledge of auditing principles and practices, including analysis and reporting of audit information (IPPF / IIA standards) \nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Business Management, Information Technology, or similar \nExperience with internal control frameworks (Sarbanes-Oxley, SSAE 18 / SOC 1 & SOC 2, AICPA Trust Services Criteria) and IT controls (access, change management, operations, security) \nStrong communication and project management skills; ability to execute tasks with limited direction and build stakeholder relationships\nStrong English communication skills (B2-C1)\nIt’s a bonus if you have\nRelevant certifications (CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CPA, etc.) \nBig Four or similar audit firm experience; experience in Financial Services / Payment Processing \nExposure to additional frameworks NIST, Cloud Controls Matrix, AWS Cloud Adoption Framework, COBIT, FFIEC, PCI-DSS, ISO27001, and ITIL and tools (AuditBoard, Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams)\n10-15% travel requirement, including some international travel.\nAbout the team\nOur inclusive and global teams win together every day.
