We’re looking for a Lead Compliance Analyst o join our ever evolving team and help shape the future of global commerce.\nWhat you'll own\nLeverage an in-depth understanding of interchange, scheme fees, system analytics, and regulatory compliance per card scheme to address out of compliance and fee assessment issues\nMake recommendations and assist with implementation of solutions to improve data quality which may include changes to internal processes or systems; merchant equipment, software, or merchant procedures\nMonitor and track daily data system activity for trends and compliance\nConduct research when anomalies in data quality or violations are identified\nHandle day-to-day issues, reporting, and research within the department\nCollaborate with internal customers or stakeholders to educate them on regulatory compliance-related topics to resolve business problems arising from interchange qualification or card brand fines\nCreate detailed presentations of moderately complex to complex datasets to share with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and calculate impacts of any data-related fee issues\nReview and evaluate payment brand publications and release documentation for impacts to Global Payments pertaining to data integrity or compliance-related fees and rates\nMaintain internal data integrity tables, spreadsheets, dashboards, advisories, or other related documentation\nMust be able to perform moderately complex to complex ad hoc queries for special projects as assigned \nWhat you'll bring\n8+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree\nOr 10+ years of professional experience in Computer Science, Finance, Pricing, Interchange, or Technology\nProficiency with business intelligence tools such as SQL, Python, and Big Query;\nStrong data analytical skills\nAdvanced Excel skills (including vlookup and pivot tables)\nAdvanced skills in problem-solving with the ability to interpret data based on established criteria to identify patterns\nDetail-oriented with strong computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work independently with little supervision and strong organizational skills\nIt's a bonus if you have:\nBachelors or Masters Degree in Data Science\n10+ years of experience in the bankcard industry dealing with compliance, card brands, interchange, POS applications, and large data sets \nExperience with Google Suite and MS 365 \nAbout the team\nOur inclusive and global teams win together every day.
