We’re looking for a Performance QA Engineer to join our engineering team and help shape the future of global commerce.\nIn this role, you’ll play a key part in building and evolving our shared performance testing platform, helping ensure the scalability, stability and reliability of Genius Enterprise and multiple POS business branches.\nWhat you’ll own\nOwn and evolve the architecture and roadmap of our shared performance testing platform, ensuring it scales effectively across multiple business branches.\nDesign, build and maintain reusable performance testing components and frameworks using Gatling/Scala, Python and Locust, supporting high-load and distributed systems.\nBuild and improve test orchestration, environment provisioning, reporting and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Groovy, Docker and AWS.\nDefine technical standards and performance testing best practices, while providing code reviews, technical guidance and mentorship to Automation Engineers across teams.\nTroubleshoot complex performance, framework and environment issues, lead root-cause analysis, and use data to validate solutions and drive continuous improvement.\nWhat you’ll bring\n5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with hands-on experience in performance, load or scalability testing.\nStrong programming skills in Python, with Scala experience or the ability and willingness to work across both languages.\nHands-on experience testing REST APIs and distributed, cloud-hosted systems, with practical experience using AWS or another major cloud platform and Docker.\nExperience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or TeamCity, including Groovy pipeline scripting.\nExperience designing and executing performance test strategies for iOS and Android applications, with a solid understanding of key mobile performance metrics.\nIt’s a bonus if you have\nExperience building or maintaining a shared internal testing framework or platform used across multiple engineering teams.\nExperience with performance observability and analytics tools such as Kibana or Grafana, as well as load, stress, spike, soak and endurance testing.\nExperience working with POS, retail or enterprise-scale distributed systems, or providing technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers.\nWe’re looking for someone who can think like a client, act like an owner and win as one team.
