At that same time as we modernize our platforms, we will look for opportunities to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices.\nWhat you’ll own:\nDesign, develop, and test software for scalability, reliability, and data recovery associated with a high-volume, high-availability platform \nCollaborate with other internal teams (Product, Platform, Merchant Services and Support) to convert business requirements into technical solutions \nUse Agile software techniques such as pair programming and test-driven development to maximize productivity and quality \nDeploy new features into production with zero platform downtime and no impact to end customers who are currently processing \nBuild domain expertise in e-commerce payments and apply engineering expertise to develop new product features \nWork in a \"team focused\" culture, where strong collaboration and communication are critical\nWhat you’ll bring:\nA bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. \n7+ years of relevant job experience in Java Software Engineering, including internships. \nExceptional database & schema design and SQL and Java programming skills\nAbility to quickly grasp high-level business goals, derive requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions \nAbility to fluidly change context and priorities based on changing business needs \nExperience with financial systems, payments infrastructure, or high-volume transactional systems that require precision and auditability\nAbility to Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven applications using Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and related technologies, ensuring secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise solutions\nundefined \nIt’s a bonus if you have\nExperience with Microservices architecture, globally distributed services, and 24/7 support \nExperience with design and implementation of monitoring and responsive, self-healing resilient immutable platforms \nKnowledge of scalability levers in high volume, low latency transactional systems \n Experience working in AWS, OpenShift Platform Experience with Ansible, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Harness, Snyk, SonarQ, Cucumber, Karate \nExperience with Splunk, Sysdig, OpsGenie, Open Telemetry, Instaclustr, Prometheus, JBehave, JGiven, Xmatters, ServiceNow \nDevelopment experience with a unit testing framework (JUnit and experience employing TDD preferred) \nPair programming experience.
