We’re looking for a Performance QA Engineer to join our ever-evolving technology team and help shape the future of global commerce.\nWhat you’ll own\nOwn the architecture and technical roadmap of our shared performance testing platform, ensuring scalability, stability and reliability across multiple business teams and POS branches.\nDesign, build and maintain reusable performance testing frameworks and components using Gatling/Locust, Scala/Python, Docker and AWS, including simulations, test utilities, cloud modules and reporting solutions.\nDesign and execute performance testing strategies for high-load, distributed and cloud-hosted systems, including iOS and Android applications, validating volume, throughput, availability and key mobile performance metrics.\nBuild and enhance CI/CD and test orchestration pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy and related technologies, while continuously improving test data setup, environment provisioning and results analysis.\nProvide technical guidance to Automation Engineers, establish framework standards and best practices, troubleshoot complex performance issues and drive root-cause analysis and remediation.\nWhat you’ll bring\n5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with hands-on experience in performance or load testing.\nStrong programming experience in Python, combined with experience in Scala or the ability to quickly work across both languages.\nHands-on experience testing REST APIs and distributed cloud-hosted systems, with practical experience using AWS or another major cloud platform and Docker.\nExperience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or TeamCity, including exposure to Groovy pipeline scripting.\nExperience designing and executing performance test strategies for iOS and Android applications, with a solid understanding of key mobile performance metrics.\nIt’s a bonus if you have\nExperience building or maintaining a shared testing framework or engineering platform used by multiple teams, particularly with tools such as Gatling or Locust.\nExperience with observability and analytics tools such as Kibana or Grafana, including analysis across load, stress, spike, soak and endurance testing.\nExperience working with POS, retail or enterprise-scale distributed systems, along with experience mentoring or providing technical leadership to other engineers.\nAbout the team\nOur inclusive and global teams win together every day.
