We’re looking for a Sr. Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join our ever evolving IT Infrastructureteam and help shape the future of global commerce.\nThe primary responsibility of this role is to design, optimize, support and further automate the cloud infrastructure supporting our business platforms, and to continuously improve the platforms to meet the evolving needs of Global Payments.\nWhat you’ll own:\nFormulate and carry-out businessimpactingcloudinfrastructure-related designs, primarily in AWS and Azure,to meet the strategic direction and standards of the company and thecloudteam, including ancillary services andon-premisesservices and hybrid solutions.\n\nSupport automated methodologies forbuildactivities, suchas forresourceprovisioning, hardening,leveragingPaaS offerings, load balancerrulesandfirewallpolicies.\n\nPartakein ownershipofengineering efforts,includingnewsolutionsdesign and optimization, for multiple engineering projects, concurrently, working closely with the business owners, productteamsand applications teams.\n\nMaintain installation and configuration procedures, and drive automation around these areas\n\nProvidecross-trainingand mentoringwith other members of the team. Develop shared knowledge of leveraged tools on the team,eliminatingsingle points of knowledge and dependencies.\n\nWork with management and technical peers toestablishand support technical policies and procedures.
