As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will play a critical role in growing and managing Zego's ecosystem of Property Management System (PMS) partners. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Alliances, this position serves as the primary business owner for a portfolio of strategic PMS relationships, responsible for driving partner growth, strengthening executive relationships, identifying new partnership opportunities, and ensuring successful cross-functional execution.
You will work closely with product, engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and customer success teams to maximize the value Zego delivers through both existing and emerging property management technology partnerships.
What You'll Own: Strategic Partner Growth and Acquisition
- Develop and execute strategic business plans for key Property Management System partners that align partner objectives with Zego's growth strategy.
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities including new integrations, revenue programs, joint go-to-market initiatives, and product innovation opportunities.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partner leadership, presenting performance results, growth opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor competitive, industry, and technology trends across the multifamily, HOA, student housing, and property management software markets.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective PMS partners to expand Zego's ecosystem and market presence.
Partnership & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary business relationship owner for assigned PMS partners.
- Establish trusted relationships with executive sponsors, product leaders, partner success teams, and operational stakeholders.
- Act as the voice of the partner internally while serving as the voice of Zego externally.
- Collaborate with partner leadership to develop joint objectives, success metrics, and long-term growth strategies.
- Work closely with partner organizations to drive adoption of existing capabilities and identify future partnership opportunities.
New Partner Acquisition & Ecosystem Development
- Identify, recruit, negotiate, and onboard new Property Management System partners that align with Zego's strategic priorities.
- Lead partner evaluations, business case development, and executive presentations supporting partnership investment decisions.
- Coordinate partnership launch activities, commercial agreements, implementation plans, and go-to-market readiness.
- Support contract negotiations and partnership renewals in collaboration with legal and leadership teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Implementation, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful execution of partner initiatives.
- Drive partner integration projects from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Coordinate internal stakeholder alignment around partnership priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage escalation paths and facilitate resolution of partner issues when necessary.
- Track strategic initiatives and ensure progress against agreed timelines, KPIs, and business objectives.
Financial & Commercial Ownership
- Own partnership growth objectives, including revenue, transaction volume, customer adoption, and strategic expansion goals.
- Build business cases supporting new investments, partnership enhancements, and growth initiatives.
- Develop forecasts, pipeline reporting, and partnership performance analyses.
- Monitor partner health metrics and recommend actions to improve growth and retention outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, channel management, strategic account management, or related roles.
- Experience managing enterprise software, SaaS, fintech, payments, proptech, or technology partnerships.
- Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and influence stakeholders across complex organizations.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience developing business cases, negotiating agreements, and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support strategic partner relationships and industry events.
- Knowledge of payments, embedded fintech, proptech, resident billing, utility management, or property operations.
- Experience managing API, integration, or platform partnerships.

- Experience working with Property Management Systems (PMS), multifamily housing technology, HOA technology, resident experience platforms, or real estate software.
- Familiarity with partner ecosystem development and marketplace strategies.
- Experience negotiating strategic partnership, referral, reseller, or technology integration agreements.
