Whether we’re in the studio, building world-class technology, or securing record Outdoor advertising partnerships, we make sure we’re doing it as a team.\n\nYour new role\nReporting to the Transformation Programmes Director, Global Outdoor UK, the Project Manager (Roadside) role oversees contractor-led build and refresh projects within the Global Outdoor roadside portfolio.\nThe Project Manager is responsible for ensuring all assigned projects meet timelines, budgets, scopes, and safety standards. The role involves close collaboration with teams in Partnerships, Operations, Safety, Engineering, and Programmes, with support from the Outdoor Programme Management Office.\nThis role is essential in delivering high-quality projects that grow and enhance the Global Outdoor estate and digital display standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Planning & Management\nDevelop detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resources.\nDeliver all phases of project lifecycles, including scoping, design, construction, and commissioning, ensuring adherence to project goals and timelines.\nPerform risk analysis, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project-related issues.\nMonitor contractors to ensure compliance with scope, specs, and safety\nCarry out site visits nationwide (some during engineering/ night working hours) to ensure compliance of build standards to specification\nBudgeting & Financial Oversight\nOversee project expenditures to ensure compliance within approved budgets.\nCollaborate with finance and procurement teams to optimize project costs, negotiate contracts, and monitor contractor performance.\nCross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Management\nCollaborate with engineering, procurement, operations, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.\nServe as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering clear communication and promoting collaborative decision-making.\nOversee contractor relationships to ensure project standards and specs are met.\nQuality Assurance & Compliance\nEnsure all CAPEX projects comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards, as well as company policies and guidelines.\nImplement quality control and assurance procedures to maintain high standards.\nConduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned, best practices, and areas for process improvement.\nReporting & Documentation\nMaintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports.\nProvide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and performance metrics.\nLead the preparation of project closeout documentation and manage the transition of completed projects into sales and Operations.\nWhat You’ll Love About This Role\nOwn It: Cross-functional role with high visibility and growth.\nKeep it Simple: Fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.\nBetter Together: Supportive and dynamic team\nWhat Success Looks Like\nIn your first few months, you’ll have:\nUnderstand programme deliverables and role responsibilities.\nBuild relationships with Programmes, Operations, and franchise partners to resolve stakeholder challenges.\nCollaborate with contractors for safe and successful site installations.\nCommission and hand over initial project deliverables.\nWhat You’ll Need\nExperience: 3+ years of experience in project management or CAPEX project delivery, preferably within construction, engineering, or digital industries.\nDelivery of construction installation and commissioning projects ideally on roadside, highway, rail or airports.\nExperience managing contractors and suppliers, working within NEC3/4 or similar contract management environments.\nAdherence to CDM regulations 2015 and evidence of safety-first site management and auditing.\nA good practical knowledge of project management practices and ideally be certified/qualified at a practitioner level - Prince II or equivalent.\n Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.\nBudget Management Skills: Experience in supporting project cost controls and budgeting.\nAnalytical Ability: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for effective risk management, scheduling, and problem-solving.\nCommunication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
