Plumbing Industry\nLocation: East London, Eastern Cape | Regional Travel Required\nGlobal Recruitment SA is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the plumbing and building products industry.\nWe are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Representative with specialist knowledge of plumbing products and fittings, as well as a strong understanding of the Eastern Cape market, particularly the Transkei region.\nThe successful candidate will be based in East London and responsible for developing sales and maintaining customer relationships across East London, Queenstown, Port Alfred, King William’s Town, the Transkei and surrounding areas.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop new business opportunities and grow the existing customer base.\n\nBuild and maintain relationships with plumbers, contractors, merchants and other trade customers.\n\nPromote and sell plumbing products, fittings and related solutions.\n\nProvide accurate product advice and recommend suitable plumbing products to customers.\n\nConduct regular client visits throughout the designated territory.\n\nIdentify market opportunities, generate leads and increase regional sales.\n\nPrepare quotations, follow up on enquiries and manage customer accounts.\n\nAchieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.\n\nMonitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to increase market share.\n\nMaintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports.\n\nEssential Requirements\nDirect experience within the plumbing industry is essential.\n\nStrong working knowledge of plumbing products, fittings and related components is essential.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of the Transkei region, including its geographical areas and customer market, is essential.\n\nMust be based in East London, Eastern Cape.\n\nMust be willing and able to travel regularly to East London, Queenstown, Port Alfred, King William’s Town, the Transkei and surrounding areas.\n\nProven sales experience, preferably in external sales, technical sales or business development.\n\nDemonstrated ability to generate new business, build customer relationships and achieve sales targets.\n\nStrong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.\n\nA valid driver’s licence is essential.\n\nAdvantageous\nAn established network of plumbers, contractors and trade customers in the Eastern Cape.\n\nExperience selling plumbing fittings, pipes, valves, sanitaryware and related products.\n\nA proven track record of growing sales across a regional territory.\n\nHow to Apply\nIf you have the required plumbing product knowledge, understand the Transkei market and are ready to grow sales across the Eastern Cape, we would like to hear from you.\nPlease submit your CV to  with the subject line Sales Representative -
