This would also involve refining the requirements for the application in conjunction with product management. The role would be required to research different implementation options and present back to both the architects and product management staff a set of the most viable implementation options plus an assessment of how the technology options affect the requirements.\nAbout you:\nRecent or soon-to-be graduate from a Computer Science or related field with Co-Op experience\nCourse work or work experience with Java\nCourse work or work experience with any of the following is an asset:\nHadoop (Map Reduce, HDFS, HBase)\nSpark framework\nText processing using Solr or Lucene\nAgile development methodologies\nTest driven development\nContinuous integration systems\nService oriented architecture \nWeb services technology such as REST, JSON, or Thrift\nTechnologies that we work with on a daily basis:\nNoSQL DBs (HBase)\nDistributed configuration management (Zookeeper)\nSerialization libraries (Thrift, Protocol Buffers)\nLarge scale data processing (Hadoop, Flume, Kafka, Spark)\nBuild Automation (Ansible)\nCI/CD (Jenkins)\nWorkflow scheduling (Oozie)\nSecurity (SSL, OAuth)\nDependency injection frameworks (Guice, Spring)\nCQRS frameworks (Axon)\nText search engines (ElasticSearch)\nTo Apply: \nThink you’re a great fit for this job?
