Financial Management & Reporting\nManage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes\nPrepare and present financial reports to the Directors\nProduce Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports\nPerform variance analysis and financial performance tracking\nMonitor operational expenses and overall firm profitability\nMaintain general ledger and perform account reconciliations\n2. Trust Accounting (Critical Function)\nManage and reconcile legal trust accounts and client monies\nAccurately record trust receipts and disbursements\nEnsure trust account balances align with client ledgers\nPrepare trust reconciliation reports and audit-ready documentation\nMaintain strict confidentiality and regulatory compliance\nEnsure adherence to Australian Legal Trust Accounting requirements\n3. Legal Billing & Accounts Receivable\nProcess legal billing and invoicing for matters and services\nMonitor Work in Progress (WIP) and billable time recording\nTrack debtor aging and follow up on outstanding invoices\nCoordinate billing adjustments with Directors and legal staff\n4. Australian Payroll\nProcess payroll for Australian employees in compliance with AU regulations\nMaintain employee payroll records and entitlements\nCalculate leave accruals, superannuation, and statutory deductions\nPrepare payroll reports and summaries\nCoordinate with Directors for payroll approvals\n5. Cashflow, Budgeting & Forecasting\nPrepare rolling cashflow forecasts\nMonitor receivables and payables\nAssist Directors in budgeting and financial planning\nIdentify financial risks and provide actionable recommendations\n6. Compliance & Audit\nMaintain financial records in accordance with accounting standards and legal requirements\nAssist in internal and external audits\nEnsure proper documentation and audit trails are maintained\nSupport regulatory and reporting compliance requirements\n7. Client Operations Support\nCoordinate with legal and operational teams regarding financial concerns\nProvide financial insights to support firm decision-making\nAssist in monitoring operational costs\n8.
