The next step is a dedicated new business function that wins Europe’s strongest brands.\nThe Role\nAs Business Development Director, you will win top-tier enterprise clients and build long-term partnerships with leading European brands. This role is both hunter and strategic advisor: you open the doors, shape complex, high-value signage deals and become a trusted partner to senior decision-makers.\nYou’ll work closely with the founders and an experienced team of signage experts who handle all project delivery once a client signs. This role is ideal for a commercially sharp hunter who thrives at C-suite level and wants real ownership of their pipeline and relationships.\nKey Responsibilities\nWin large enterprise clients, from identifying the right targets to closing complex, high-value signage projects and partnerships\n\nBuild and maintain relationships with decision-makers at eye level\n\nAct as the strategic link between clients and internal signage experts, writing sharp briefs and setting expectations from day one\n\nDevelop market opportunities and identify upsell and expansion potential based on each client’s strategy\n\nNegotiate pricing, contract structures and procurement processes that protect margin\n\nOwn the trade fair presence: choose the right events, show up prepared and turn conversations into pipeline\n\nVisit clients on-site at strategic moments, not as routine check-ins\n\nIdeal Candidate\n5+ years in strategic B2B sales or key account management, with proven closes on complex, high-value projects\n\nNative-level German and professional English; based in or able to work hybrid from Berlin\n\nConfident at decision-maker level and able to lead commercial conversations with the C-suite\n\nA hunter with relationship depth who opens doors independently and turns them into real partnerships\n\nCommercially sharp, with a strong grasp of margins, contract structures and complex procurement\n\nStructured and CRM-disciplined;
