Do you want to work in a field where your impact matters?\nThen you might be our new Site Assistant who is ready to start a new and adventurous journey on our project site!\nThe Role\nAt Global Wind Service, we are currently completing the crew of the Offshore Installation Team and will appoint two new Site Assistants for one of our PreAssembly projects in Netherlands. As an important link between site and back offices, you will perform your tasks from office located abroad - the same site, where Wind Turbine Technicians perform pre-installation tasks. At the same time, you will stay in touch with Project Coordinators located in various business units of GWS. High level of attention to safety and industry regulations is important for overall success in this job.\nBecome a part of our Offshore Team\nIn this position, you will be part of the Site Office team, co-organizing logistical aspects of our technical crew’s daily work abroad and assisting in handling the administrative tasks on site per our global standards and procedures.\nDuring your project assignment, you will work in direct cooperation with GWS Site Management. Throughout whole cooperation you will also collaborate closely with GWS Back-Office Management, especially: Project Managers and Project Coordinators.\nResponsibilities\nDocumentation\nCollecting all DTS (Daily Time Sheets) and ensuring Site Manager receives them\n\nDownloading the Weather Forecasts - anemometer wind readings from crane - and adding to DPR folder for the day\n\nTyping in Detailed Project Reports on the standard templates, incl. Data from Time Sheets (reviewed earlier by Installation Lead or Site Manager)\n\nCar fleet\nAssisting in car transfers acc. the plans\n\nIf needed - picking up technicians to and from airport/train stations etc.\n\nBeing a contact person for the local accommodation inquiries - staying in touch with owners, landlords, agencies etc.\n\nItems deliveries\nCollecting and distributing packages for GWS\n\nOrdering welfare items and consumables for the site office (acc. general office set up)\n\nIf needed - ordering PPE /tools locally and picking up these items\n\nMeetings\nSetting up all the points needed for GWS site visits (incl. info/ paperwork, informing the client & assisting in site inductions)\n\nArranging picture setup for attendance board\n\nParticipating in manning meetings\n\nOther tasks, depending on the site's needs\n\nRequirements\nYour Profile\nIdeally: previous work experience in the wind industry in an administrative/ supporting role\n\nLogistical and practical mindset\n\nExperience in work with MS Office; planning/ logistical software literacy will be a big plus\n\nAbility to prioritize a high number of tasks on a daily basis; structured and organized work approach\n\nOwnership and responsibility for assigned tasks\n\nFlexibility and positive attitude towards a constantly changing work environment\n\nFluent communication in English (both: written and spoken)\n\nPeople skills - ability to co-work cohesively and with mutual respect in the multicultural work environment\n\nFitness to work abroad in wind industry - proven by the OEUK medical certificate\n\nAbility to travel frequently - valid EU passport\n\nClean drivers’ license\n\nThis is a Site-based role, so please expect the rotation pattern: 2 weeks on the project -> 2 weeks at home.\nWe offer you\nAn opportunity to work with a leading supplier of manpower in wind industry - a direct look-in to the Offshore wind energy sector\n\nFurther professional development in the international work environment\n\nA fixed-term, Project-based contract with our Danish headquarters\n\nAccommodation and travels covered\n\nAll role required trainings covered\n\nOnboarding step-by-step\n\nIT, PPE and other type of must-have equipment to perform the tasks on site\n\nSupport of colleagues from various departments and business units\n\nYour happiness and your well-being are a priority\n\nWorking at Global Wind Service\nGlobal Wind Service is a leading international provider of turbine installation, service and maintenance solutions in the wind industry.
